Why Did a UFO Abductee Decide the Aliens Are Demons?

Camille James Harman says she changed her mind after about seventeen years of abduction experiences and UFO research. She reports that she prayed for an answer, was led to books on demonic UFOs and fallen angels, and found that the biblical and historical references made sense of what happened to her. This is her own account. The Tucson Weekly reported it, and I have not verified her claims.

Her account

According to the Tucson Weekly profile by Irene Messina, Harman’s first experience began the way many abduction reports begin. She woke at night paralyzed, was taken aboard a craft, and was examined by beings while lying on a table. She says she was terrified.

The evidence she offers

Harman says physical marks followed her experiences. She describes an inch-long incision on her shoulder and a scabbed triangular puncture on her calf, and she says she photographed both. She also describes a dark, hard, round mass that her dentist found in a tooth after a filling that kept hurting. She says the dentist did not think it was decay and wrote a letter documenting it.

These are Harman’s statements as reported by the newspaper. I have not seen the photographs or the dentist’s letter. A reader should treat them as claims, not as established facts.

What changed her mind

Harman was finishing a spiritual autobiography in December 2012 when a series of events, which she describes as dramatic, changed how she saw the phenomenon. She says she prayed for a useful conclusion and then found two books she had not read. One was Nick Redfern’s Final Events and the Secret Government Group on Demonic UFOs and the Afterlife. The other was my book, Fallen Angels: Giants, UFO Encounters and The New World Order.

She told the paper that she had heard the idea that aliens are demons for years, but it did not click until the history and the Bible references fit together for her. She cites the biblical and historical accounts of fallen angels producing children with humans, and she notes that medieval writers described such beings as coming from other dimensions. Harman describes herself as a born‑again Catholic.

Her warning

Harman says the beings now present themselves as extraterrestrials. She does not accept the common claims in the UFO community that the visitors are breeding with humans to strengthen their race, or that they will arrive to rescue us. She calls those claims a scam and warns that elevating the phenomenon to the role of savior could prepare people to welcome a false rescuer.

She also says she believes the beings have no souls and may be trying to take human souls, either through genetic manipulation or at the moment of death. That is her belief, and the article gives no evidence for it.

Harman says she does not have all the answers and will listen to other views. She asks readers to consider that the extraterrestrial story may not be the secret, and that “the real secret is worse than that.”

Where this fits

Harman’s conclusion matches the position I argue in my books: the beings behind these encounters are not visitors from other planets. I call them malaterrestrials. Her story is one person’s testimony, and it cannot prove what the beings are. It is worth reading as testimony, and it is worth weighing against the biblical and historical record, which is where I make the case.
